What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Two (2) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, An active security clearance with polygraph, Associate's degree in engineering technology from an accredited college, Two (2) additional years of network engineering experience may be substituted for the Associate’s degree, Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, Must possess certifications to demonstrate CWIP compliance (A+, Net+ or Sec+)
Nice to Have
Experience with installation and configuration of network devices, such as firewalls, switches, routers, and cabling, Familiarity with Cisco, Brocade, or Juniper devices, Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, etc.), Experience with network operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and ticketing systems
What You'll Do.
Follow established Connectivity Operations Team procedures
Utilizing ticketing systems for issue tracking
Maintaining detailed documentation for all network activities
Provide hands-on support for network upgrade projects
and secure LAN infrastructure

Respond to hardware failures
Replace and configuring networking components
Troubleshoot and resolve end-user connectivity issues
Deliver responsive and professional customer support
Manage access to network segments
Manage access to network resources
Perform network hardware updates
Perform network operating system updates
Perform network software updates
Adhere to established change management processes
Adhere to established configuration management processes
