What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related fields., Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering., Solid understanding of firewalls, VPN, IPsec, and related network security technologies., Hands-on experience with IB (InfiniBand) networks and RoCE high-speed network architecture, deployment, and optimization., Experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) environments., Familiarity with Cisco and Arista switches, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting., Familiarity with mainstream switches, routers, and data center network architecture., understanding of low-latency networking, network optimization, and network stability., troubleshooting and problem-solving skills., Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to support fast-paced business environments.
Nice to Have
financial industry experience are highly preferred, especially in hedge funds, securities, or quantitative trading firms., Experience with trading networks or low-latency environments within financial institutions is highly preferred., CCNP, CCIE, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
