Key job responsibilities Team Leadership & People Management - Manage a team of Network Development Engineers (NDEs) focused on capacity restoration tooling, automation, and network engineering solutions - Hire, develop, coach, and promote engineers; build a high-performing team that delivers successfully and sustainably - Strategically assign projects to grow engineer skillsets toward next-level demonstration - Drive a culture of operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement - Establish and maintain a sustainable on-call rotation that honors SLAs without burning out engineers Strategic Direction & Execution - Define the vision, tenets, and strategic roadmap for the team and align with wider organizational goals - Own a line-up of capacity restoration products. - Represent the team autonomously to senior leadership; drive long-term strategic direction with limited guidance - Write effective narratives (PR/FAQ, six-pager) for senior leaders; provide input to OP1/OP2
