The AWS Networking team develops and operates the network platform for all of Amazon including e-commerce products and cloud computing solutions. This platform is industry-leading for its efficiency, throughput and reliability, and it is critical to the success of hundreds of thousands of AWS customers. We are looking for a Network Development Manager to join this team, serving larges customers with unique requirements. This opportunity will have you start at the very beginning of a new venture that plans to be the largest technology investment in Australia’s history. You will be building a new team and be involved in every aspect of developing the network for this new customer and establishing our network operations. A true Day-1 start-up experience, with the benefit of the huge capability and expertise of AWS to support you. As Network Development Manager, you will be hiring, managing and developing a team of network engineers and be responsible for end-to-end operational health of the network; including capacity management and forecast planning, implementation, automation, process management, change control and ensuring continuous improvement.
