Key job responsibilities A Network Development Engineer is responsible for engineering, implementation, scalability, operations, reliability, and sustainability of our next-generation networks. An NDE will utilise their networking skills along with our advanced tools and systems to invent, refine and develop automation and mechanisms to reduce manual operations. Our Engineers think at “Amazon scale” to solve problems in permanent, sustainable, and scalable ways, with an eye towards utilising the best solution over the quickest solution. The work will include: - Leading network projects in the areas of network sustaining engineering, network deployment/implementation, network scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and/or network optimization - Influencing our operations function, responding to customer impact events and requests, troubleshooting, and fixing and improving
