Offered Position: Network Dev Engineer III Job Location: Seattle, Washington Job Number: AMZ9443863 Position Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support the network infrastructure by implementing technical solutions that scale and remove manual efforts from engineers. Create and review documentation and process regarding recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc. Drive event deep dives for large-scale events, deliver high-quality documentation for the events and drive corrective actions to completion. Partner with the global network development engineering population to drive strategic initiatives that support the customer growth and reduce customer impacting events. Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing network products or tools. Mentor junior engineers. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Networking, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor's degree and five years of experience. Must have three years of experience in the following skills: major internet routing protocols.; working in a Linux/Unix environment; and automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl.
