MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Employer: AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLC Offered Position: Network Dev Engineer II Job Location: Austin, Texas Job Number: AMZ9629308 Position Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize large-scale network infrastructure utilizing BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols. Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and wireless access points in fulfillment centers. Develop and implement network automation solutions using Python/Shell scripting for configuration management and monitoring. Perform complex network troubleshooting using packet analysis tools, logs, and monitoring systems. Architect and deploy secure network solutions incorporating VLANs, ACLs, and security protocols. Execute network capacity planning and performance optimization using traffic analysis and monitoring tools. Design and implement high-availability network solutions with redundancy and failover capabilities. Configure and maintain MPLS, VPN, and other WAN technologies for site connectivity. Implement network monitoring and alerting systems using industry-standard tools and protocols. Conduct technical analysis of network incidents and implement preventive measures. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have four years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) experience with major internet routing protocols (including with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP); (2) working with Linux or Unix environments and command-line interfaces; (3) with network security protocols and best practices; (4) experience with network troubleshooting tools and packet analyzers; (5) programming in Python, Bash, or Perl; and (6) experience with TCP/IP networking and OSI model.
