As a Network Deployment Technician at AWS, you will get to help build and maintain a Cloud Computing Infrastructure across a number of data center and colocation sites in the Americas. This role may involve some periods working independently and requires the ability to maintain excellent communication. Key job responsibilities • Installation of routers, switches and DWDM hardware. • Assist in troubleshooting fiber optic and copper cabling. • Create colocation remote hand requests for new capacity installations. • Support project leads to deliver network capacity projects. • Help to resolve data center and facility issues. • Support small to mid-size network deployment projects. • Building relationships with internal and partner teams. • Participate in site audits to ensure safety and quality meets AWS standards. • Providing status updates to stakeholders via internal tools. • Physical Requirements (all physical requirements may be done with reasonable accommodations).
