What They're Looking For.
Must Have
U. S. Citizen with an active DoW Secret Clearance, five (5+) years of relevant experience working in a networking environment, IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.), Experience in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining core network infrastructure solutions, Working knowledge of routing protocols (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), multicast), VoIP solutions, and cabling services
Nice to Have
BAS in computer science or information technology, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment, Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures, A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems, self-starter requiring minimal supervision, Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
