What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1+ years of experience in NDI or NDT, 1+ years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units, Willing to work variable shifts, including weekend and overtime, Ability to pass near vision and color perception exams, Must submit documented evidence of certification at time of application submission
Nice to Have
3+ years of experience in NDI or NDT, 3+ years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units, Current or prior NAS410 or equivalent certified Level 2/3 in Ultrasonic, Experience analyzing & interpreting Ultrasonic C-scans, Experience running automated inspection equipment, Certification in any other NDT method (ET, PT, MT, RT), Able to work from heights up to 55 feet, Experience inspecting composite material, 3+ years of experience writing NDT procedures and techniques, Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies
What You'll Do.
Perform setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement
Perform ultrasonic A-scan and C-scans of 787 composite
analyze and communicate results
Assist with corrective action recommendations
Provide feedback on adverse trends
Perform non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to
Conduct on-the-job training (OJT)
Adhere to Boeing policies
