What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5+ years of experience in a professional work environment, Experience working with Navy, Defense, Joint, or Combatant Command (COCOM) staff, including as an Action Officer, Flag Aide, or with Private Sector Executives, Experience with Congressional or legislative affairs, including as an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff, Experience managing executive level communications with DoW, DoN, Federal taskers, Congressional and industry RFIs, and talking point development, Experience with regular direct client interactions, including supporting project delivery, delivering presentations, and leading client meetings, Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment, Secret clearance, Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have

5+ years of experience working in a federal government environment such as the DoW or DoN, Experience working on Capitol Hill as a Congressional Staffer or Navy Office of Legislative Affairs, Experience with the Congressional Authorization and Appropriations process, the DoD legislative process, including program objective memorandum (POM) preparation, Budget Estimate Submissions (BES), President’s Budget (PB) Exhibit preparation, and working with senior Congressional staff and Navy officials, Experience employing Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) tools and Agile methodologies, Master’s degree, Top Secret clearance
