What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of ten (10) years of operational U. S. Navy or Joint military experience in Command and Control (C2) and Naval Fires. Experience supporting Carrier Strike Group (CSG) operations and/or Maritime Operations Center (MOC) planning. Graduate of a U. S. military Command and Staff College or possess an equivalent documented warfare qualification (e.g., Surface Warfare Officer). Understanding of naval operational planning, maritime operations, and joint force integration. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or TS/SCI eligible with a completed Tier 5 investigation at the time of submission.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting Department of Defense programs and operational environments. Familiarity with Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) concepts. Experience supporting Navy modernization, maritime operations, and mission engineering initiatives. AWS and/or Azure cloud certifications. Kubernetes, DevSecOps, or Agile certifications.
What You'll Do.
Lead and support naval operational planning efforts related to Command and Control (C2), Naval Fires, and maritime operations.
Provide subject matter expertise for Carrier Strike Group and Maritime Operations Center planning activities.
Support modernization initiatives through the integration of cloud, DevSecOps, and containerized technologies.
Collaborate with military, government, and contractor personnel to develop operational solutions and mission requirements.
Guide technical teams in implementing secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and software solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation, operational procedures, and technical artifacts supporting mission objectives.
Participate in strategic planning, operational assessments, and mission execution activities.
