Must Have
University degree in Civil Engineering, Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng. ), minimum 10 years experience, Experience with highway engineering, Knowledge of highway engineering, including policies, regulations, guidelines and operational procedures, Demonstrated experience in detail design work with proven design capabilities, Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with clients, and other relevant stakeholders, Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to think creatively, Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance
Nice to Have
Developed an excellent reputation working with MTO/Municipalities etc., has worked in or has an understanding of the consulting engineering environment
What You'll Do.
Support overall success of Major Projects
Act as Transportation engineer
Lead civil roadway components
Provide technical guidance
Prepare technical reports
Prepare contract documents
Prepare design drawings
Prepare quantity estimates
Prepare cost estimates
Perform quality control checks
Complete site inspections
Maintain client relationships

Team & Collaboration
Work with multidisciplinary Major Projects teams; Collaborate with junior engineers and technical staff; Maintain positive client relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Communication Scope
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Process & Methodology
Manage civil roadway components from inception to completion
