The Multiphysics Systems Engineering Analyst - Acoustics & Optics will contribute to the development of advanced sensing solutions that integrate acoustic and optical technologies. This role is suited to candidates with a strong foundation in either optics or acoustics, coupled with an interest in developing expertise in the complementary field. Working at the intersection of physics, engineering, and software, the analyst will support system modeling, algorithm development, experimentation, and prototype evaluation for next-generation sensing systems. Key Responsibilities • Develop and analyze multi-modal sensing systems (acoustic and optical) • Perform multiphysics modeling and simulation to support system design and trade-offs • Design and implement algorithms and software tools for signal processing, data analysis, and visualization (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++) • Work with experimental data, including collection, conditioning, analysis, and interpretation • Design and execute laboratory and field experiments to evaluate system performance • Build and integrate prototype sensing systems (sensors, data acquisition, embedded components) • Investigate system behavior, including noise, environmental effects, and calibration • Support integration, testing, and performance evaluation of systems • Contribute to technical documentation and reports (models, results, design rationale) • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, and algorithms ## Q
