KSEE24/CBS47 in beautiful Fresno, California is hiring multi-media journalist to join our team. We are looking for someone who thrives covering breaking news but also knows how to dig beneath the police reports and press releases to tell issue-driven stories through real people. The _MMJ_ collects, analyzes and presents facts about newsworthy events by interview, investigation or observation for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers. * Reports news stories for broadcast and digital platforms, describing the background and details of events and issues. * Gathers information through research, interviews, experience or attendance at political, news, sports, artistic, social or other functions * Ensures that all content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality * Interacts with viewers/users on social media Requirements & Skills: * Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience * Fluency in English * Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. * Superior on-air presence * Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Valid driver’s license with a good driving record * Flexibility to work any shift * Must join SAG-AFTRA union * $45,000-$55,000 annually commensurate with experience and skill level ** _SCAM ALERT:_** Please be aware candidates may be at risk of being targeted by scammers seeking personal data or money.
