What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ Years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, 3+ Years of experience working with precision measuring tools, 3+ Years of experience operating 3, 4, or 5 axis NC/CNC machine tools, Must be able to stand and walk throughout work shift (6+ hours) as well as carry and lift up to 25 pounds, Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C. F. R. § 120.62 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

What You'll Do.
Obtain job assignments from LSDI and prioritize work accordingly
retrieving parts from dollies as needed
Review CMES and access online systems to determine work requirements
verify operation/production information
and ensure parts match work orders
and verify the most current Numerical Control (NC) programs on machine controllers from various servers/databases
and adjust multi-axis NC drilling machines using program documents and control perform hole preparation
and other machine-adapted tasks
and maintain drills per program specifications
ensuring correct type
and replace as necessary
Monitor machine operation for unusual vibrations
and warning notify supervisors of malfunctions
Check and maintain fluid levels and work adjust machine buttons and clamps to secure parts properly
Load parts with correct indexing
visually inspect during and after operations
and perform self-inspections with +A stamp approval
Use precision measuring tools (e. g.
pin gauges) and perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) functions to ensure parts meet production specifications
Access and utilize control charts and online computer systems to verify part conformity and log production data into machine memory
Verify machine-generated Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) tape data against specifications
Record operating data as required and perform tool try-outs and first part checks
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with company and governmental regulations
Maintain personal and tool certifications as required
