What You'll Achieve.
Deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) to time, cost and quality; Ensure the timely and adequate supply of materials; Achieve inventory targets; Minimise excess waste and costs; Maintain MRP system accuracy; Achieve schedule adherence, inventory and delivery KPIs
Industry & Context.
Analytical and problem solving skills; Resolve constraints in the supply chain; Resolve queries
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship, Undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Relevant experience in Manufacturing planning, Supply chain management or a related position, Experience in the use of ERP essential, Good Planning and organising skills, Analytical and problem solving skills, Attention to detail
Nice to Have
APICs supply chain certification would be beneficial but not essential, Experience of SAP beneficial
What You'll Do.
Management and co-ordination of all planning related activities to deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) to time
Co-ordination and execution of all activities related to the planning and procurement of materials
Ensuring the timely and adequate supply of materials so manufacturing can output the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
Preparing and maintaining the MPS in response to customer demand
considering materials
capacity and inventory targets
manage and schedule all work in the MRP system
Ensure delivery forecasts are maintained and communicated to customers
Ensure efficient and affective material inventories in line with inventory targets whilst minimising excess waste and costs
Maintain accuracy of the MRP system by conducting regular stock checks
Communicate potential plan changes and resolve constraints in the supply chain
Escalate where required within the sales and ops process risks related to supplied parts and achievement of the MPS
Manage inventory levels
maintain MRP system accuracy and ensure the required paperwork is submitted for stores and despatch related transactions
Support effective non-conformance management controls
Maintain the manufacturing bill of materials and manufacturing strategy by ensuring master data is topical
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Support a multi-disciplined team; Work closely with the Supply Planner; Work closely with Goods Receiving, stores and despatch (Logistic Services)
Communication Scope
Communicate potential plan changes; Communicate delivery forecasts to customers
