Must Have

Associate's or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school, or hospital based Radiologic Technology Program, Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire, Thorough knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices and procedures, physiology and human anatomy, visual acuity adequate to perform position duties, ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire, 1-3 years of training/experience in MRI

What You'll Do.

Operate MRI equipment

Prepare patients for MRI

Position patients for MRI

Instruct patients on procedures

Administer IV contrast media

Perform MRI procedures

Coordinate daily schedules

Assess exam completion

Assist with staff training

Assist with student orientation

Provide reports to management

Consult with radiologist

Consult with physicians

Consult with patient-care personnel

Research lab data results

Monitor injection of contrast material

Monitor patient condition
