**Deadline Date:** Monday 15 June 2026 **Requirement:** MPS Technician **Location:** Yeovilton, GB **Full Time On-Site:** Yes **Time On-Site:** 100% **Total Scope of the request (hours):** 836 **Required Start Date:** 23 July 2026 **End Contract Date:** 31 December 2026 **Required Security Clearance:** NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET **Duties & Role: ** Under the direction of CSE Yeovilton Head the incumbent will perform duties such as the following: * Manage multiple VMware vCenter & ESXi servers * Manage Windows Servers, AD, DNS, DHCP * Basic maintenance of Switches and Firewalls * Maintain Infodas SGWX diode * Maintain GPS Time Server * Install and maintain multiple server and client software applications * Maintain Bespoke Server application TEPA and its database * Maintain Softtros LanManager messaging * Renewing certificates * Managing VIASAT encrypted drives * Loading Keymat to TCE621M devices * Escorting and assisting 3rd level engineers * Assist with testing and verification of new systems * Assist with VEEAM Backup * Supporting local ServiceDesk * Maintaining documentation on assigned systems * Support to VDI maintenance, and thin clients * Print server support. * Assist with EPO DLP * Install Sharepoint and SQL server patches. * Performs other duties as may be required. **Specific Working Conditions:** The site is small and you will work with 4 other IT staff. Usual working hours: 0830 – 1700hrs Mon – Thurs; 0830 –1500hrs Fri with 30 minute lunchbreak (negotiable). 38hr working week with some flexibility on start and finish times. **Requirements** **Skill, Knowledge & Experience:** * The candidate must have a currently active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance * Vocational training at middle level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent, or Diploma of secondary education in IT System Administration with 5 years of experience. * Extensive Windows Server Administration experience * Intermediate Network maintenance and configuration experience * Advanced Works
