Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, 5+ years of experience in NDE
Nice to Have
5+ years of hands-on experience in NDE/NDT engineering in a regulated industry (e. g. , aerospace, defense, energy), Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics, Experience with nondestructive evaluation processes (e. g. , ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection), Experience working in multi-discipline teams, a desire to work with technical and non-technical customers, understanding of materials behavior, stress analysis, and fracture mechanics, Experience with project management tools, Excellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations, Active / Current Secret U. S. Security Clearance preferred but not required

We are looking for a range of experience, including **Mid-Level** and **Lead** level NDE Engineers. The Midwest Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) and Fleet Support team is part of the BDS Engineering department. We are an engineering team supporting space, commercial and defense air vehicles programs such as: 787, 777X, F-15, F-18, AV-8B, T-7A, T-45, MQ-25, KC-46, P-8, B-52, B-1, KC-135, Executive Transport platforms, Commercial Crew Transportation, Space Launch, and weapon systems. Our team is responsible for NDE Engineering supporting of pre-production, current production, and post-production efforts. Along with supporting the aforementioned space commercial and defense programs; the team provides supplier standup/certification, fabrication support/trouble-shooting and fleet support activities across the Boeing value stream. The team also conducts NDE research and development for both internal and external customers. Our team is located in three cities: Huntsville, AL; Oklahoma City, OK; and St. Louis, MO.
