Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related field), A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience gained within an insurance company, a busy automotive repair workshop, or a reputable motor assessment firm, Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies

ACII, Diploma in Insurance (UK) or AIIK, Diploma in Insurance (Kenya) or with good progress in either

Inspect and assess vehicle damages accurately

Prepare assessment reports and recommend fair settlements
Partner and negotiate with garages for repair pricing
Review external assessors’ work and reports
Maintain compliance with company policies and standards
Recommend workflow and process enhancements
Detect and mitigate potential fraudulent activities
Manage technical disputes and conduct post-repair inspections
Meet established service level agreements and timelines
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge
