Must Have
post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience, Credit Qualifications and associated credit knowledge and skills according to the credit portfolio requirements and qualification standards, In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements, interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills, Expert knowledge of self-management and teamwork, personal lending, relationship sales and management, Functional knowledge of personal banking, investments, trust services, business and commercial lending, and cash management, knowledge of the broader real estate industry and mortgage market, negotiation skills, Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience, Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth, Collaboration & team skills - In-depth, Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth, Influence skills - In-depth
What You'll Do.
and manage relationships with referral network
Build pipeline of new mortgage business
Increase BMO’s share of home financing market
Identify sales opportunities
Refer to BMO colleagues
Develop and execute marketing and sales programs
Follow corporate policies
legal and regulatory requirements
Proactively contact referral and origination sources
Assist with implementation of targeted marketing programs
Search for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
Achieve individual sales and profitability goals
Support delivery of targeted marketing programs
Seek opportunities to expand network
Establish and enhance Bank’s community presence
Participate in trade shows
Serve as customer advocate during application and processing
Complete onboarding activities
Deliver exceptional customer service
Guide customers throughout mortgage application and processing
Partner with branch teams
Finalize mortgage documentation
Refer customers with non-mortgage needs
Resolve or escalate issues
Ensure funds are advanced timely
and professional service
Identify client needs for banking products
Refer to appropriate BMO partners
Stay abreast of consumer needs
Address customer service issues
Develop solutions and make recommendations
Provide advice and guidance on implementation of solutions
Support execution of strategic initiatives
Determine business priorities
Conduct independent analysis and assessment
Liaise with BMO teams and customers
Document updates in BMO’s internal systems
Analyze data and information
Gather and format data into reports and dashboards
Provide input into planning and implementation of operational programs
Execute routine tasks within service level agreements
Organize work information
Engage with referral network
Create relationships that generate referrals and mortgage originations
Complete all necessary transactions in compliance with guidelines

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with branch teams to properly hand off customers; Liaises with various BMO teams and customers to ensure satisfactory completion and/or fulfillment of the home financing application; Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
