Must Have
post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience, In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements, interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills, Expert knowledge of self-management and teamwork, personal lending, relationship sales and management, Functional knowledge of personal banking, investments, trust services, business and commercial lending, and cash management, knowledge of the broader real estate industry and mortgage market, negotiation skills, Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience, Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth, Collaboration & team skills - In-depth, Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth, Influence skills - In-depth

What You'll Do.

Increase BMO’s share of the home financing market
Actively identifies sales opportunities
Refers to BMO colleagues as appropriate
Develops and executes effective marketing and sales programs

Proactively contacts referral and origination sources
Leads discussions about home financing solutions
Assists with the implementation of targeted marketing programs
Searches for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities

Supports the delivery of targeted marketing programs
Seeks opportunities to expand network by obtaining referrals
Establishes and enhances the Bank’s community presence
Participates in trade shows
Serves a customer advocate during application and processing activities
Completes onboarding activities as required
Delivers exceptional customer service that builds trust
Guides customers throughout mortgage application and processing activities
Partners with branch teams to properly hand off customers
Finalize mortgage documentation
Refer customers with non-mortgage needs
Resolves or escalates issues to meet customer expectations
Ensures funds are advanced in a timely manner
Provides customers with friendly
and professional service
Identifies client needs for banking products
Refers to appropriate BMO partners
Stays abreast of consumer needs
Addresses customer service issues according to established parameters
Escalates persistent or complex matters to more senior staff
Develops solutions and makes recommendations
Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group
Supports the execution of strategic initiatives
Helps determine business priorities
Conducts independent analysis and assessment
Liaises with various BMO teams and customers
Ensures satisfactory completion and/or fulfillment of the home financing application
Documents updates in BMO’s internal systems
Analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations
Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs
Executes routine tasks within relevant service level agreements
Organizes work information to ensure accuracy and completeness
Engages with referral network to create relationships
Generate referrals and mortgage originations for clients
Completes all necessary transactions in compliance with guidelines
Maintain operational integrity
