What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2 years sales experience, Thorough knowledge of FHA/VA regulations, conventional loan requirements, real estate law, federal registration under the SAFE Act
Nice to Have
General knowledge of personal computers and software programs utilized by Residential Mortgage Department, Proven sales ability, mathematical skills, Self-motivated, well-organized individual, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to interact with individuals at all income levels and peers in a professional manner, Demonstrated ability to work independently and to follow through on details to completion, Ability to work under critical time constraints
What You'll Do.
Interviewing applicants to collect and analyze financial and credit data
Assessing applicant's credit worthiness
Determining appropriate mortgage products for customers
Advising borrowers on financial products
Cultivating new mortgage business
Marketing and promoting mortgage products
Soliciting residential first mortgages
Negotiating loan terms
Ensuring lending compliance
Monitoring real estate market trends and regulatory changes
Representing the bank in the community
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Interacting with internal Bank personnel; Developing and maintaining relationships with external contacts (potential and existing customers, Realtors, etc.); Interacting with individuals and teams internally and within the community
Communication Scope
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to interact with individuals at all income levels and peers in a professional manner
