Full Job Description

## Accountabilities Review residential mortgage loan files across the full lifecycle, including pre-closing, closing, and post-closing stages. Validate borrower documentation such as income (W-2, self-employed, bank statements, DSCR), assets, credit, and collateral records. Calculate qualifying income, verify reserves, and confirm source-of-funds accuracy across multiple documentation types. Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of Initial Disclosures and related mortgage documentation. Identify missing documents, discrepancies, and compliance gaps, and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders. Clear underwriting conditions, including those generated by AI-driven underwriting systems. Work within Encompass LOS to review, update, and manage loan files, milestones, and service orders. Communicate with internal teams and borrowers (when needed) to obtain required documentation and resolve issues. Maintain accurate documentation of findings, actions, and updates across internal systems. Support process improvement and quality initiatives across mortgage operations workflows. Requirements: 2+ years of hands-on U.S. mortgage operations experience in processing, underwriting support, closing, or post-close roles. Strong understanding of the full residential mortgage lifecycle, not limited to a single function. Mandatory hands-on experience with Encompass LOS. Solid knowledge of mortgage documentation, disclosures, and loan file review processes. Ability to calculate qualifying income across wage-earner, self-employed, and bank statement profiles. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools. Strong written and verbal English communication skills for coordination with U.S.-based teams. Ability to manage multiple loan files independently in a fast-paced remote environment. Familiarity with Non-QM, DSCR, RTL, or agency loan products is a plus. Understanding of TRID, RESPA, or TI
