Full Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer committed to playing an integral role on the Florida Gulf Coast East team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers. You will be responsible for proactively soliciting new residential mortgage business and selling Victory Mortgage products. You will thrive in this role if you: Enjoy prospecting, presenting to, listening to, and closing our customers. Posses a persuasive communication style to obtain buy-in from customers. Navigate a great deal of change, pressure, and shifting priorities to accomplish your goals. Desire to connect and build valuable relationships with new individuals frequently. These skills will be used to: Develop and maintain successful relationships with business referral sources, existing and new. Prospect new mortgage lending opportunities. Meet with customers as necessary during various stages of the loan process, both inside and outside of the office. Utilize training material, reference tools and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/ policy information to external customers. Ensure exceptional customer experiences by overseeing the loan process from origination to close and providing on-going communication to customers. Achieve production goals as established by managers. Responsible for new business development through marketing, cold-calling, prospecting, and networking activities. Participate in community efforts to promote homeownership. Qualifications: A minimum of two years of Mortgage origination experience. NMLS License is required. Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong leadership skills, adaptability, and customer service orientation. Excellent organizational skills.
