Occasional periods of out of hours working for supporting plant operations, shutdowns or commissioning new processes, Act as incident controller when required
What You'll Do.
Ensure the monomer plant is operated safely and efficiently following the agreed S&OP production plan
Coordinate the daily activities of the Monomer team and plant contractors
Coordinate training of new personnel
Day to day management of the plant ensuring production follows the S&OP plan whilst also ensuring that safety
environmental and quality standards are met during operation and maintenance activities
Coordinate maintenance activities on plant with Maintenance planner
Coordinate plant outages with engineering
Review plant operating practice and procedures and implement changes where necessary
Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
Audit operator performance for compliance with safety and procedural requirements
Occasional periods of out of hours working for supporting plant operations
shutdowns or commissioning new processes
Act as incident controller when required
Mentor apprentices through the apprenticeship program
Work closely with the plant engineer to push through continuous improvement projects and operator suggested improvements
Purchase operational items

Coordinate the daily activities of the Monomer team and plant contractors; Coordinate maintenance activities on plant with Maintenance planner; Coordinate plant outages with engineering, maintenance, and S&OP; Interaction on a regular basis with other manufacturing managers and teams, purchasing and Supply Chain functions
