Must Have
visual acuity adequate to perform position duties, ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
Nice to Have
Less than 1 year Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician or Certified Nurse Assistant, Previous experience in medical field, Previous experience with telemetry monitoring
What You'll Do.
provide continuous monitoring of patients utilizing the monitoring platform in their area of practice
maintains observation of assigned patients
both visually and/or through use of the monitoring platform’s alerts
May verbally redirect patients as needed
using the monitoring platform audio/visual system
Must be able to recognize and assess alerts and changes in patient and respond appropriately
Dependent on the Monitoring Platform
may provide patient with explanations as necessary through the monitoring system voice output
May assist nurses in providing patient care
Serves as a resource to unit staff for placement
equipment management and troubleshooting of monitoring platform
With accuracy and detail
records and charts clinical data such as temperature
respiration and similar patient information received from nursing and medical staff
Maintains accurate patient data
seeks clarification from appropriate source when in doubt
May transcribe physician’s orders
complete all necessary forms
requisitions and computer entries to implement orders
