Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Monitors patient activity by continuous utilizing the monitoring system in the area of practice. The Monitoring Technician is accountable for assisting with basic care needs of patients, attention to the monitors and maintaining the medical record. The Monitoring Technician collaborates with the Nursing Units by communicating with both the patient and staff as needed to ensure patient safety. **What you will do ** * Responsible to provide continuous monitoring of patients utilizing the monitoring platform in their area of practice. * Always maintains observation of assigned patients, both visually and/or through use of the monitoring platform’s alerts. * May verbally redirect patients as needed, using the monitoring platform audio/visual system.
