High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge, Current BLS certification, Completion of unit approved basic electrocardiogram -OR- electroencephalographic interpretation course or on the job training, Minimum passing score of 85% on ECG -OR- EEG test, Accurate identification of all lethal cardiac dysrhythmias - OR - epileptiform activity, Working knowledge of medical terminology, Effective interpersonal and problem solving skills

What You'll Do.
Continuous observation of patients' monitors
Report pertinent changes and abnormalities
Maintain logs of activity and changes
Obtain calibrated rhythm strips per policy
Document changes in clinical and/or behavioral activity
Provide information and summaries to physicians
Monitor and maintain monitoring equipment
