If you are a skilled communicator and love being the focal communication source, this is the job for you. As a Monitor Tech at MultiCare, you will hone your patient care and monitoring skills, nurture your communications development, and collaborate with the Clinical Director in support of care and delivery of patient services. **Responsibilities** * You will perform receptionist and communications duties on the patient care unit * Observe telemetry monitoring and recognition of cardiac dysrhythmias * Support care delivery and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups * You will regularly utilize your independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills * Collaborate with Clinical Director and charge nurse for optimal care delivery and patient services **Requirements** * High school graduate or equivalent preferred * Completion of an approved Health Unit Coordinator vocational training course and basic arrhythmia course preferred * One (1) year of patient care experience preferred * One (1) year equivalent clerical experience in a medical setting preferred * On the job Training Provided: Successful completion of rhythm identification training and EKG telemetry competency test (experienced techs may bypass the training by passing competency test) **About Deaconess Hospital** Founded in 1896, MultiCare Deacone
