Reporting to the **Process Engineering Manager,** the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams. **What a typical day looks like:** * Assist Engineering Team with continuous improvement project(s) * Attend Design Status, Customer/Internal Review and Continuous Improvement Meetings * Support plastic injection mold design process * Complete assigned work orders and provide 2D and 3D models * Update design guidelines and standards * Update to documentation for Process Guides, CCL’s to stay compliant **Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:** * Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related major * Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment * Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills * Solidworks CAD and troubleshooting knowledge highly desired * Prior internship experience with plastic injection molding process strongly preferred **Internship Program Requirements:** * Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment * Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university * 3.0 minimum GPA Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois) ### ### $16.98 USD -
