Summary: Gibson Dunn is a leading global law firm, advising clients on significant transactions and disputes. Based in London/Dubai, the Mobility Specialist will support the Firm’s global mobility with a particular emphasis on the tax, social security, and regulatory aspects of cross-border employee movements. This role will work closely with Tax, Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, and external advisors to ensure that all international assignments and business travel arrangements are structured and administered in a compliant, efficient, and commercially sound manner. Responsibilities include: Global Mobility, Tax advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, CPA) preferred. 3–7 years of experience in global mobility or international HR, ideally within a law firm, professional services firm, or multinational organization. Strong understanding of international taxation, social security frameworks, and working knowledge of immigration processes and requirements across key jurisdictions. Experience working with external tax and immigration advisors and managing cross-border payroll processes. Experience: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex tax and immigration concepts clearly to non-specialist stakeholders. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines. Professional judgment and discretion in handling confidential information. Collaborative approach with a strong client-service mindset.
