What You'll Do.
Plan instruction according to state standards and student
Participate on pre-assessment teams

Diagnose student needs
Structure and implement IEP for each student
and communicate daily expectations
Communicate with parents and staff
Provide differentiated instruction
Adapt course content and reading levels
Discern learning styles
Assist students in achieving academic objectives
Assist students in achieving daily living objectives
Assist students in achieving social skills objectives
Present various learning opportunities
Prepare and display events
Prepare reinforcement activities
Evaluate according to state standards and student IEPs
Plan assessments for evaluation
Design subject-based reinforcement
Design a grading system
Collect and enter student data
Provide a positive role model
Develop classroom structure
Design classroom rules for student interaction
Design systems for handling behavior
Prepare physical condition of classroom
Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Keep daily records on student attendance
Keep daily records on student learning needs
Keep daily records on student social needs
Keep daily records on student assignments
Keep daily records on student assessments
Supervise paraprofessionals
Manage job duties with mobility
Participate in teacher committee work
Attend teacher daily lunch activities
