1 or 2-year technical college diploma/degree in diesel technology or related, High school diploma/GED and 2 years of comparable shop mechanic experience, Ability to write and communicate effectively, Ability to interact with supervisors, customers and team members, Basic computer skills, Own mechanic tool set, Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment, Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test
Nice to Have
2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience, Working knowledge of hydraulics, Working knowledge of transmissions, Working knowledge of undercarriage, Working knowledge of track systems, Working knowledge of components, Working knowledge of electrical, Working knowledge of fuel, Working on Caterpillar equipment a plus

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Diesel Technician to work on various heavy construction and mining equipment at our Ziegler Buhl location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location.
