12-hour shifts, rotating schedule on days and nights, Must be able to work shift work with 12-hour shifts, Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday, Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves, and any other protective equipment as required, drug/alcohol-free work environment including both mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1 year experience operating equipment, Willingness to work night shift, Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English, Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
What You'll Do.
Operation of haul trucks
Ensure the haul truck is operated safely and in accordance with company procedures
Report any operational hazards to the Supervisor
Ensure the haul truck is operated for reliability (O4R)
Operating the haul truck productively while maximizing machine life and machine performance
Communication via 2-way radio
Assists in mine support activities as necessary
Perform pre-shift inspection and document appropriately
