For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work. **Job Title** : Mill/Turner **Reporting To:** Manager, Manufacturing **Work Schedule:** Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBR Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an apprentice-trained, experienced CNC Machinist (Turner/Mill-Turn) . At Moog, we're focused on the customer and for us, this means designing complex mechanical products that are often bespoke and high-profile. Our Machinists work to exceptionally close tolerance, an essential requirement of the aerospace industry. **Key Responsibilities:** * Set up and operate multiple CNC machines/processes. * Perform first-off inspections and complete necessary quality documentation. * Capability and competent in setting up and using machine tools * Carry out own 1st off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentation * Proven experience in a machine shop environment * Competent in setting up and using machine tools * Confident in using precision measurement equipment. **Key Experience:** * Recognised engineering apprenticeship. * Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing role, ideally within the aerospace industry. * Strong knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling. * Proven skills in a multi-axis/complex machining environment. * Attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement techniques. * Proficiency in using relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing tolerances. * Over 5 years experience on different mill/turn CNC machines (Okuma , Mazak , Lathe, DMG , Matsura, Puma) **Additional Information:** This role follows a day shift pattern and may in the future lead to a 6.00am - 2.00pm. 2.00pm - 10.00pm or 10.00pm - 6.00am shift pattern.
