What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, 3–5 years working experience, knowledge of crushing plant processes, knowledge of Palm Kernel Crushing, leadership and supervisory skills, Good problem-solving, analytical thinking, Advance in communication, teamwork, Able to work in fast-paced, Able to work in 24/7 operational environment, Exposure to industrial environment, Able and willing to mobilise

Familiarity with MSPO/RSPO/Quality and Safety standards
What You'll Do.
Assist in managing day-to-day plant operations
Ensure production targets are achieved
Monitor plant throughput
Ensure smooth coordination between shifts

In line with our business expansion, we would like to invite qualified and candidates to fill the following position at FGV Kernel Products Sdn Bhd _**Job Description**_ ## ** _ABOUT THE ROLE_** We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Assistant Mill Manager / Mill Engineer** to support the operations of our Palm Kernel Crushing Plant. The successful candidate will play a key role to assist the Mill Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Palm Kernel Crushing Plant, ensuring optimal production performance, maximum oil extraction efficiency, equipment reliability, cost control and full compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. ** _2\. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITY_** **2.1 Operation Management** * Assist in managing day-to-day plant operations, including kernel crushing, pressing, oil extraction, and product handling. * Ensure production targets for CPKO and PKE are achieved. * Monitor plant throughput, efficiency, and operational performance. * Ensure smooth coordination between shifts and departments. **2.2 Process Optimization** * Optimize oil extraction rate (OER) and minimize residual oil losses in PKE. * Monitor and adjust process parameters (temperature, pressure, screw press settings). * Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency. **2.3 Maintenance & Engineering** * Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs. * Troubleshoot equipment failure
