The Milk Procurement Finance Trainee supports the milk procurement and producer services function by assisting with producer payrolls, audits, and compliance requirements. This role works closely with procurement management, field representatives, and plant personnel while developing skills for future growth within the milk department. **How you will make contributions that matter** * Communicate with all parties involved in producer services, including Managers, Field Staff, and plant personnel. * Complete producer payrolls accurately and on a timely basis by: * Auditing milk weights * Validating pricing, formulas, and supporting data * Meeting all required payroll deadlines * Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot discrepancies or issues related to audits and producer payrolls. * Develop an understanding of Federal Milk Marketing Order pricing and regulatory requirements as they relate to producer payrolls. * Support management and collaborate closely with Field Representatives on: * Follow-up communication related to audits * New and upcoming changes related to the producer payroll system, animal welfare and sustainability initiatives * Train in and gain exposure to future roles and responsibilities within the milk procurement department. * Work from ground up on the analysis, development and implementation of a new milk payroll system. **You are best suited for the role if you...** * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. * Internship, co-op, or 0–2 years of experience in a business, analytical, or supply chain-related role preferred. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data
