Full Job Description
In Order to Join the ELEVI Team you will need: You must have a current or active security clearance with a poly. Possess Fourteen (14) + years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR 4 years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Required Skills/Experience: • Linux system administration experience (file system manipulation, monitoring and logging, troubleshooting; experience with command line tools: ps, netstat, top, SSH, grep) • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, automation and monitoring of tools and processes • Kubernetes experience with the understanding of deployment, management, and configuration • Docker experience (deployment, management, and configuration) Desired Skills/Experience (but Highly Preferred): • Cloud computing skills (AWS) • Experience with scripting tools (bash, python, JavaScript, etc.) • Experience building and supporting VMs (preferably experience using one of the customer’s corporate solutions) Desired Skills/Experience: • Experience with Apache NiFi • Experience with visualization/reporting tools (Grafana, Kibana, etc.) • Experience with Jenkins • Experience hardening COTS application configurations Some of the day-to-day activities: The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the front end processing of data for a mission critical tool. The individual will also support the modernization of the front end processing services.
