We are looking for a Middle School English Teacher for a bilingual school based in Kunming. This position is available from the 2026–2027 academic year, beginning in August 2026. About the school Located in Kunming’s Chenggong District, this private non-profit school offers a bilingual and international learning environment with IB programmes across primary, middle school, and university preparation levels. The school uses small-class teaching and draws on the educational experience of a well-established Beijing-based school group, providing students with a globally minded curriculum, diverse extracurricular activities, and a strong pathway toward international university preparation. Job responsibilities * Teach English language to middle school students following the IB MYP framework, while creating an engaging and enriching learning experience for students. * Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments * Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum * Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve * Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers * Develop supportive and safe learning environments **Requirements** * Bachelor degree or above in the related subject * Two or more years teaching experience in the subject * Teaching certificate is a plus * Excellent communications skills **Benefits** Salary and benefits * Monthly salary of 25,000 RMB after tax commensurate with experience and qualifications * Fully paid summer and winter holiday * Public holiday * Medical insurance * Flight allowance * Free medical check * Free tuition for dependent children * Lunch provided on working days * Overseas relocation allowance
