What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, experience working with PostgreSQL and writing complex SQL queries, Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and SaaS applications, Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, RDS, and S3, Experience working within Git workflows and pull request review processes, full-stack development and problem-solving capabilities, Excellent understanding of API architecture and database optimization, written and verbal English communication skills, Ability to work independently and manage feature ownership end-to-end, Comfortable working in fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environments, analytical mindset with attention to detail around financial systems and sensitive data, Enthusiastic about AI-assisted development workflows and emerging engineering tools
Nice to Have
Experience in fintech, lending, or payments environments is a plus, Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, or automated testing is preferred

Leverage AI tools to improve development velocity while maintaining code quality and reliability

Their technology enables lenders to manage the full loan lifecycle, from origination through servicing and collections, through a sophisticated white-label infrastructure designed for scalability and operational efficiency. LOCATION Fully-Remote (Latin America) | 9 AM – 5 PM EST ROLE OVERVIEW The Mid-Level Software Engineer will take ownership of features from initial ticket through production deployment while working across a full-stack fintech platform. This role involves building borrower-facing workflows, payment-related functionality, and scalable API services while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering workflows and delivery.
