Professional **Position Details:** **The Opportunity:** As a **Mid-Level Practitioner** for **Cougar Health Services (CHS)** , you will provide primary care for Washington State University (WSU) students. In this college health setting, you will demonstrate competence in general medicine, sports medicine, trauma, infectious diseases (including sexually transmitted infections), minor surgical procedures, dermatology, mental health, sexual health, and psychosocial medicine, using current standards of care. You will practice within the scope of your board certification to prescribe, place, and provide contraceptive products, and serve as a resource for students seeking family planning options in a primary care clinic. Your care will include educating patients, including counseling on family planning, sexual health, and reproductive medicine. You will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, collaborate effectively as part of a team, and support preventive care, patient education, and cost-effective practice styles. You will also support CHS and the university through non-clinical work as requested.
