Mid-Level Manager Satellite Mission Support **Company:** The Boeing Company The Boeing Space & Mission Systems (SMS), Mission Systems Engineering and Operations Department is seeking a **Mid-Level Manager - Satellite Mission Support.** This role plays a critical leadership role across all Commercial, Civil, DoD and proprietary Space Mission Systems (SMS) satellite programs assuring quality operational support and sustainment services to all its customers. This engineering capability management position sets the vision and implements the strategies for creating an engineering center of excellence for satellite and satellite systems support under the Customer Operations Support Center and proprietary program sustainment programs. The Boeing Satellite Mission Support Manager leads a team of 15+ talented and dedicated engineers, across multiple disciplines, SMS SEIT Capability in support of the diverse Commercial, DoD and National Program portfolio. **Position Responsibilities:** * Develops and manages the people, operations products, processes and tools necessary to execute integrated customer focused strategies that deliver improved performance for customers assets * Manages, develops and motivates employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of customer asset monitoring, anomaly investigations and operations improvements to a wide range of customer assets * Engages with satellite customers and operators to ensure Boeing provides excellent technical support and to solicit feedback on the performance of the fleet * Promulgate engineering best practices and efficiencies across the business that will deliver containment, proactive and preventative solutions to customers’ operations and assets. * Provides feedback on product performance to enhance future spacecraft design by actively monitoring data and working with program teams and new business **This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
