Stoel Rives LLP is seeking an intellectual property litigation associate with three to five years of experience to join its Technology & Intellectual Property Practice Group in the Portland, Seattle, Sacramento, or Salt Lake City office. **Our Technology & Intellectual Property Team** Stoel Rives’ Technology & Intellectual Property practice is a multidisciplinary group that includes attorneys with experience in business, regulatory law, and litigation related to intellectual property rights (patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets). Our patent litigation team mobilizes technical and scientific knowledge, business understanding and courtroom experience. Our attorneys have handled hundreds of patent litigations in courts throughout the United States, including in those jurisdictions known for speedy depositions and expedited paths to trial. **Responsibilities** * Support the day-to-day management of patent litigation matters in U.S. federal courts, PTAB proceedings, and, as needed, ITC Section 337 investigations. * Support day-to-day management of trademark and copyright litigation. * Draft motions and briefs, including discovery motions, claim construction (Markman) briefing, Daubert motions, and dispositive motions, with opportunities to argue in court as appropriate. * Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and assist in preparing inventors, experts, and corporate representatives for testimony. * Assist with fact and expert discovery, including document review, ESI protocols, drafting protective orders, and coordination with vendors. * Contribute to infringement and invalidity analyses; assist with preparation and refinement of contentions and collaborate with technical and damages experts. * Support trial preparation, including drafting witness outlines, preparing exhibits, assisting with motions in limine and jury instructions, and providing in-court support. * Assist with claim construction efforts, including researching key terms, analyzing in
