What They're Looking For.

Must Have

1+ years of experience with standard project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project/Project Server, Open Plan Professional or Primavera, Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools), with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data in Excel, Good Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address unexpected scheduling conflicts

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree or higher, Active TS/SCI Clearance or T-5 SSBI, 1+ years of experience in performing project planning and scheduling within an aerospace manufacturing environment, Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process, Demonstrated knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction, Experience with Department of Defense customer communities and their project management practices, Demonstrated knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing workflows

support Government Satellite Programs Integrated Product Teams

develop proposal plans and schedules

baseline execution schedules

maintain the in-work schedules

perform critical path analysis and what-if planning

support the delivery of our IPMR Format 6 deliverables

and monitors detailed

short-term and long-term production schedules using Microsoft Project Server

Independently develops

and maintains an integrated schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

Performs analysis (trend

risk assessments to determine impacts

and constraints involving product development

Creates schedule reports/metrics

manage change activity

and communicate updates to the plan regularly throughout the lifecycle of the program

Works to improve project management processes

and implement best practices that support project decision makers

Assists customers to develop performance recovery plans ensuring all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders

Identify performance variances

or potential scheduling proactively develop and implement recovery plans
