What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of solid experience as a backend engineer working with distributed systems and microservice architectures, understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Experience with Java and Spring, or backend experience in another object-oriented language, Hands-on experience with relational databases, Familiarity with messaging systems and streaming platforms such as Kafka, Ability to work independently on backend tasks while collaborating effectively within a team, Comfortable working in a product-oriented environment with direct interaction with Product stakeholders, Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Nice to Have
Previous exposure to compliance-heavy domains, regulated systems, or platform engineering, Experience contributing to or maintaining AI-assisted tooling or LLM-based systems, Some experience with frontend technologies or API consumer-facing portals, Interest in mentoring junior engineers or supporting internship programs
