Let’s build what’s next, together. **What this role is all about** As a Mid Backend Engineer in this team, you will work on building and evolving compliance-focused platform services that enable global messaging at scale. The team develops internal and external tools, APIs, and backend services that handle campaign registration, validation, and vetting before any SMS or MMS traffic is sent to market, particularly in North America. You will collaborate closely with Product, have a direct influence on product design decisions, and work on technically and conceptually complex problems where compliance becomes an engineering challenge, not just a legal one. **What you’ll do** * Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for compliance-related platform applications used internally and externally * Develop and operate distributed microservices handling campaign registration, validation, and vetting workflows * Work primarily with Java-based backend systems using Spring, MSSQL, Kafka, and event-driven architectures * Collaborate closely with Product Managers to shape solutions and influence product and platform design * Participate in an agile setup with two-week sprints, short daily standups, and a strong
