As a Microsoft SQL DBaaS Engineer supporting the Government, you will be charged with providing a roadmap for the customers future DBaaS infrastructure, Microsoft SQL Server, database-as-a-service (DBaaS) platform, database management, data migration, maintenance solutions to manage customer database infrastructure, including maintaining and managing the enterprise SQL server farms and stand-alone databases. In this role, a typical day may include: * Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies * Analyzing user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications * Analyzing system requirements and leads design and development activities * Guiding system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. * Revising existing systems, testing functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintaining more effec
