Must Have
Proven, practical experience administering Microsoft 365 in a complex environment, Operational experience supporting level 2 and Level 3 activities, Knowledge and experience with automation across M365 environments leveraging tools such as PowerShell and Power Automate are essential
Nice to Have
Experience or interest in MS Purview, Experience or interest in MS Security/Defender, Experience or interest in information and data security, Exposure to Windows 10 / Windows 11
What You'll Do.
Ensuring the provision of operational support to agreed levels
Identifying and rectifying faults within appropriate timelines
Liaising and negotiating with vendors and third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues
Supporting the relevant stakeholders in developing
implementing and managing the vision and associated roadmap for the University's Digital Workplace services
Ensuring the vision and roadmap is aligned to the strategic objectives and relevant governance principles of IDS and Flinders
Providing timely and effective advice and support to customers and stakeholders
Identifying improvements to support services
Providing technical expertise to enable customers to adopt new technologies and processes
managing and mitigating risks related to the activities being undertaken by the role in line with IDS and Flinders University policies and procedures

* Full-Time | Fixed Term (12 months) * HEO7 | $102,589 - $113,561 * Location: **Bedford Park / Kaurna Country** * **[View Position Description](https://www.flinders.edu.au/content/dam/documents/jobs/position-descriptions/Snr_IDS_Digital_Workplace_Officer.pdf)** **About the Role** We are looking for a **Microsoft 365 Administrator / Specialist** to strengthen our Digital Workplace capability and support both day‑to‑day operations and longer‑term infrastructure and cyber security programs at the University. This role, known at Flinders as Senior IDS Digital Workplace Officer, is **hands-on and operationally grounded** , with opportunities to feed into more advanced platform, security and AI capabilities through project support. Some of the key responsibilities of this role are: * Ensuring the provision of operational support to agreed levels, identifying and rectifying faults within appropriate timelines and liaising and negotiating with vendors and third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues. * Supporting the relevant stakeholders in developing, implementing and managing the vision and associated roadmap for the University's Digital Workplace services, ensuring the vision and roadmap is aligned to the strategic objectives and relevant governance principles of IDS and Flinders * Providing timely and effective advice and support to customers and stakeholders by identifying improvements to support services and providing technical expertise to enable customers to adopt new technologies and processes. * Identifying, managing and mitigating risks related to the activities being undertaken by the role in line with IDS and Flinders University policies and procedures. **About You** You have a customer service focus, and proven, practical experience administering Microsoft 365 in a complex environment, with particular depth across Core MS365 Workloads (Teams, Exchange Online, Sharepoint Online, OneDrive, EntraID, Intune and Purview), along with operational experience sup
