This **full-time** opportunity is in the **Microbiology** Department of Clinical Pathology Laboratories (CPL) in Austin, Texas. We are seeking an **entry-level** team member to work on **first shift** (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and is available to **work weekends**. **In This Role, You Will:** * Perform moderate to high-complexity microbiology testing on clinical specimens such as urine, blood, sputum, wounds, and body fluids. * Analyze, review, and report microbiology test results, ensuring timely communication of critical findings. * Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment handling biological and chemical hazards. * Recognize and troubleshoot issues or unexpected results, implementing corrective actions effectively. * Identify when corrective action is necessary and implement effective solutions. * Promote safety, compliance, and quality control within the lab. **What We’re Looking For:** * Bachelor degree or higher in a chemical, biological, or medical science. * Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. * A willingness to learn new techniques
